 Check in serials, including recording receipt of all titles in Millennium, marking the shelving location on each item so that it may be properly shelved, and retrieving processing cards so the item may be processed and shelved by other staff

 Claim non-received titles through Ebsco, including determining the reason for non-receipt, generating a claim when appropriate, recording actions taken to fill claims on the appropriate records, and monitoring claims to verify that they are properly filled

 Distribution, including delivering items to designated shelf locations, distributing routed materials to faculty and staff mail boxes, inserting supplements into their proper volumes, removing and discarding superseded items, and retrieving serials that are ready for binding

 Prepare bindery shipments, including identifying serials that are ready to be bound and determining the type of binding appropriate for each item. Collating and verifying that holdings are complete prior to shipment to the bindery  

 Process material returned from bindery, including inspecting all items returned from the bindery for accuracy in labeling, collation, and binding strength, preparing labels, and maintaining and creating bibliographic, serial, and item records as appropriate on Millennium

 Upload information regarding Current Index to Legal Periodicals electronic resource for the Law Library

 Staff reference desk two hours per week, including answering patron questions, telephone reference, and assisting with computer help
